

Josh Goldberg
Cantor Josh Goldberg is an accomplished vocalist, prolific songwriter, music producer, filmmaker, and Cantor. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Josh began his singing career performing in musical theatre, and then went on to study voice, piano, music composition, and theatre at Dallas’ Arts Magnet High School. Josh moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to study at the University of Southern California’s prestigious Thornton School of Music under the tutelage of Melissa Manchester, Patrice Rushen, and Lamont Dozier. After graduating with a degree in Popular Music Performance, he found his calling in Jewish music, touring nationally and internationally with luminaries such as Rick Recht, Craig Taubman, and Mikey Pauker, as well as performing his original music at conferences, synagogues, and music festivals. Josh’s songs have found their way into synagogues, summer camps and youth conventions, concert halls and even into the White House. Josh founded Jewish record label and production company, Kosher Style Records, producing over 100 recordings for outstanding Jewish artists from all over the U.S. Josh recently moved to Music City, a.k.a. Nashville, Tennessee, to serve as Cantor and music director at Congregation Micah. Josh continues to expand his creative horizons to include creative writing and filmmaking. His new film, Morning, A Journey: A Visual Album, won “Best Jewish Film” at the Accolade Global Film Competition, and is now in syndication on Jewish Live Television.
