

Josie Aiello
Josie Aiello (aka Jozee) is an international award-winning singer, BMI songwriter, performer, vocal arranger, and vocal performance coach with more than four decades of professional experience in the music and recording industry. A commanding vocalist from an early age, she began performing at nine years old in her parents’ Sicilian restaurant in Chicago. She later attended Chicago’s Academy of Performing Arts High School and earned a full scholarship to DePaul University’s School of Music.
After relocating to Los Angeles, Josie was personally signed by legendary producer Quincy Jones to his record and publishing labels through Warner Bros. Records. Her extensive recording career includes lead and background vocals for internationally acclaimed artists such as Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand, Cher, Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, Normani, Jessie J, Ciara, Enrique Iglesias, Andra Day, Rita Ora, Ricky Martin, Joe Cocker, Kenny Loggins, Peter Cetera, Patti Austin, Plácido Domingo, Brenda Russell, Ramsey Lewis, and many others.
Her voice has also been featured on major film, television, and theatrical soundtracks, including Respect, Hairspray, South Park, Dinosaur, The Guardian, That Thing You Do!, The Out-of-Towners, and Starlight Express. In addition, she has recorded vocals and voice-overs for national television and radio campaigns for brands including McDonald’s, KFC, Big Lots, Eckrich, and Splenda.
With three albums under her belt, Josie has received USA Songwriting Competition awards in both the Gospel and Pop categories. She is currently collaborating with award-winning Jamaican musician and producer Danny Browne on his Main Street Records label. Their reggae-influenced gospel releases include “I Won’t Last a Day Without You,” which has gained airplay on gospel-reggae stations throughout the United States, UK and Caribbean. Josie is set to release a new album in fall 2026, featuring multi-award-winning recording artist Prodigal Son and gospel dancehall legend Papa San.
