Susie McCollum We Are Here Concert

Susie McCollum

Susie McCollum is a singer/songwriter born and raised in New York City.

A proud graduate of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School (Voice) and Northwestern University (Theater), Susie’s varied artistic background has enabled her to carve out a niche of her own. Her music blends poetic lyricism with a pop-folk sound, which she uses to build intimacy with both herself and anyone who listens.

As a solo artist, Susie has performed across Chicago at Sleeping Village, Bookclub Chicago, Davenport’s Piano Bar, and The Red Room, as well as Mercury Lounge, Birdland Jazz Club, and Arlene’s Grocery in New York City. As a vocalist, she was most recently featured in Love Infinite, the second movement of Hubbard Street Dance’s Fall Series: Refractions, composed by Ira Antelis and choreographed by Randy Duncan. Susie’s debut single New Year’s Eve is now available on all streaming platforms, and her first record is scheduled to debut in 2023.

In addition to songwriting and performing, Susie works in audio engineering at Audiotree Music. Susie has been with We Are Here since its first iteration in Chicago and is honored to be a part of this chapter at Carnegie Hall.
